Other people say the name ‘Mint’ is my original name, and I am ought to keep it. Most people know me as (Admin.) Mint, and want me to stay Mint so other people don’t get confused.

Dear friends,

Unfortunately, I come bearing very morbid news….:( I just found out today that one of my last two grandpas basically has to choose how he is going to die.

He has two options: starve to death (anything he eats just comes back up) slowly, or end his dialysis and starve quickly.

As some of you know, he’s been sick in and out of the hospital for going on two years now. I’ve been, overall, watching him wither away.

Though I am sad to see him go, I am happy that he’ll finally end his suffering; be in a better place.

So if one day in the next month or so (if he makes it that long) I just drop off the face of BAOC for awhile, this is why.

Just giving you all a heads up, a fair warning if you’ll call it that.

briar valley sim game:

BVSG was created by myself, and an “e-friend” of mine, that I met on another horse sim game, HrsecrayZ. We’ve got a solid (and growing) member base, but could always use more members (because can’t any site?....:))!

We have a basic, and “loose” set of rules. We also have our own personal forum website, where guests and members can advertise their sites. We also have a page where members can request custom artwork! Besides all of this, we have a very friendly and welcome-ing member community!

Right now, there are three staff members: Myself (Impy) – Resident/Head Admin, HrsecrayZ – Administrator (She’s my right-hand gal!), & Bellre – Our Moderator. We are all ready to welcome you to BVSG and help you get started!

The only “requirement” (it’s more of a staff request) we have for you to set-up is a stable website. It’s really easy, and can be done so using Weebly.

Sorry for my absence this week! We’ve had a lot of thunder storms, and that caused us to have to reschedule about half of our parades in marching band. Thusforth, I got swamped…:(

I’m back for a few days, but then I’m headed off to THE WINDY CITY until the 6th or 7th….:/ Excited, because we get to march the SKOKIE PARADE – 30TH ANNIVERSARY but of course sad because of leaving everybody here hanging…

I know there are few good animals here, but that’s why it’s up to us to stop it! You cant leave – then there will be no good animals at all! We need to stop all the unnecessary drama, and to make AU AU again! We mustn’t let anything or anyone at all stop us either! We mustn’t give up hope! I love AU with all my heart, the real AU, and will do anything to get AU back onto its feet! I understand your feelings, though, and I’m mad too! I wish the admins could delete every animal that did nothing that AU was meant for! That created unnecessary drama and dated at our college! Help us get AU back to the AU I know!

I have to agree with Soul. AU HAS completely changed. It’s not peaceful any more and AU is just full of ignorant Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus [ although some are not ]. Like Soul said, AU is drowned in Drama and it’s not interesting anymore. It’s not fun, and it’s always some drama going on. Good friends aren’t even logging on anymore. And I have to say, I’m not either. When I first joined, I was ADDICTED to AU. But not anymore.

I’m OFFICIALLY leaving AU, and not coming back. I’ve been saying that for the past few months, but I’m serious now.

Sad to say, AU’s not fun anymore. I would be glad if Augie and the Big Dogs made another new, website more fun and better than AU. AU is getting old, and everyone knows that.

Have you heard of Petfinder.com? They’ve got a lot of really cute animals up for adoption! Anyways, My owner and her family were looking at a free cat on eBay who needed a home, then a sec. later we found out she was just adopted. Darn for me, I would’ve had a playmate! So then they started looking at dogs on petfinder. They were looking at dogs for about a month, then they finally settled with one, Max, a 9 month old sweetheart :) Yes, they have adopted him already as you can see if you click the link, and the whole family (but me) is very excited about getting him and bringing him home this Saturday! I’m not sure if I’m excited, just nervous because we’re going to be a food chain now, and I won’t be on the top anymore! Now I know how the fish feels on the bottom, being preyed on by me. Now I’m the victim! The dog’s victim! Wonder if I’ll ever sneak in a quiet spot and eat fish again! * Laughing Out Loud * Owner’s really looking forward to it! We’ve already got all his things we need for him, so we are getting him! I’ve got to watch out!
