Thank you Augie! My grandparents are trying everything in their will power to try and get custody of them, and their actual father will help so that my grandparents can get them, but he honestly want’s nothing to do with them. But as my cousin’s birthday is on Sunday my grandma is going down hill into depression again. He was the one that died almost 5 years ago. He is also the older brother of my two cousins living with their neighbor.

Honestly ever since we lost Nathan, things have been turned upside down with my family as one thing after another happens. My mom needs to go through two surgeries, and my great grandpa broke his pelvic a couple weeks or a month ago.

I want to challenge everyone on AU to try to go deaf or blind for 12 to 24 hours to see how it feels. Going deaf would be partial as having something in you ear to block out the noise, doesn’t block out everything. If you do it, please allow your parents to know that you are doing a challenge to experience something new.

It’s honestly weird. I’m going deaf till midnight pacific times today for a Physiology extra credit project. But I feel if people on this site get a chance to try it out for half a day to a full day then they would understand how people with it actually feel and how they act, and the reason why. I have seen a couple people create deaf characters. I don’t know if they are still on the site, but I thought it would be a fun experience.

The extra credit project for me is for 24 hours, but I know some people won’t be able to do that due to schedules so that’s the reason that I put 12 to 24 hours.

I know this has no relations to AU, but I was wondering if everyone could pray for my 16 year old cousin and 12 year old cousin. They have gone through the loss of their older brother, court trials so my grandparents can get custody of them, having no dad around them, and a mom who mentally abuses them. There could be some physical abuse, but as they live in Florida and I live in CA, I have no idea. We know for a fact that there is mental abuse involved. They were brain washed to hate my grandparents, my parents, my brothers, and myself. They were also brain washed to think that my grandparents were the one to kill their brother, when it was a freak drunk driving accident that killed him. A 21 year old drunk driver hit my grandma and my cousin head on. They were in a car while the guy who hit them was in a truck.

Now since my Aunt doesn’t have custody of them, my grandparents are able to try and regain custody of them. If we have to we will be taking in the 12 year old, as they have both never been disciplined, and my 16 year old cousin can only be helped from my grandpa due to how bad the mental abuse is/was. They are currently living with their neighbors and the CPS is getting all of the details from the last court trial, the doctor’s that they went to, and the reason why my cousin was able to get out of that house and live with my grandparents while they couldn’t.

We were literally told by CPS that in Florida they don’t take away children from their families unless there is a knife wound to them, gun pointed at them, or physical abuse that is noticeable due to how many kids would be taken away. That is legit from a CPS worker in Florida that my grandparents talked to.

I tried to talk to my 12 year old cousin now that she isn’t with her mom, since before she wanted to talk to me, but my aunt was most likely stopping that. Now she wants nothing to do with us.

So please pray that they will understand what their own mother has done to them during their childhoods and that they will realize that living with family is most likely better then in foster care, which will have a lot more rules.
