At first people thought it was a joke, but there ARE police reports saying that people are going to do it. So please, KEEP YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS LOCKED AND BE SAFE. REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR AND DONT DO ANYTHING RASH/STUPID.

I know this is happening with a lot of southern states, so please AU, be careful.

I am really tired do sending out messages about this, but it has to get done because both my girlfriend and I had gotten really bad anxiety from this.

Yes, it’s about your characters with mental disorders.

It is NOT apart of your personality. It is an ILLNESS which is usual from a mess up of chemicals in your brain. I even asked my therapist, a LICENSED DOCTOR, if it was apart of your personality and she said no.

The biggest reason why this is so offense is because it can teach people that you ARE your disorder/illness but you are NOT. It is like getting the flu, but in your mind. And you can take meds and get help for it. If you have a bratty personality, you can’t do anything but fix your teenage attitude.

Please DO NOT think your mental illness is who you are. It affects how you ACT and NOT YOUR PERSONALITY. I know people on this website suffer from many different things, and it can be embarrassing and painful. It’s nothing to be proud of and just exclaim to the world. And teaching people that they are “depression, anxiety, psychosis, schizophrenia, ADHA, anorexia, dyslexia, etc” it’s so WRONG and HURTFUL.

Take this from people who suffer from these things. Trust me, we aren’t our disorders. They just affect our life.

Demon’s green eyes squinted as he looked up to the sky. Rays of golden light broke through the emerald canopy that sheltered the worn forest trail. It wasn’t often that he would take walks through the woods like this, and he couldn’t say he enjoyed the dirt and bugs, but he’d always thought it as an easy way to find something to do. He’d either encounter some curious creature- weather it be man or beast -or get lost in his own thoughts.

Mephisto couldn’t help but let out a heavy sigh. He still hadn’t changed out of his work “uniform”, which he normally wouldn’t approve of, but it wasn’t as if he’d run into someone who’d actually care. A loud rustling caught his attention. It couldn’t be the wind, so he figured it was just an animal or, although unlikely, a human. He gave a shrug and continued with his stroll. If whatever it was wished to speak with him, they could take the initiative themself.

Ok, I am going to be straight forward here. You guys are making me really mad. Not all of you, but a few of you.

Ok there I said it. You may not realize it, but you’re romanticizing self harm, eat disorders, and other mental illnesses. It is wrong and hurtful. And not only that, but you’re posting pictures of people with cuts? That is a TRIGGER WARNING. If you are going to do that, the least you can do is put a warning.

Another thing, some of you claim to have your pets be “insane”. Ok, fine. But do your research first.

Please, you don’t need to be “depressed” “anorexic” “insane” “cutter” or anything like that to be an interesting person. You can actually do this thing called ORIGINALITY
