Pierce: (hugs you) Thanks dad. I’ll join the AU Baseball team as soon as it’s up and I’ll hit a home-run with this one.

Xandri: (tears up and hugs you also)

Lily: (smiles a bit)

Xandri: Dad….that necklace means a lot to all of us…..It’s…It’s Nicole’s…..

Pierce: (nods) She was our older sister…...She…she died in the fire on our house, along with our birth parents….

Xandri: That was the only thing that survived the flames…but the picture didn’t….the picture of our entire birth family….

Pierce: She was great….our birth mother was never really around, so not only was she our sister, but she kinda took on our birth mom’s role in the family…

Xandri: We all loved her….we’ve kept that locket close to our hearts ever since….

Lily: (looks up, finishing) But it’s time to move out of the past. Besides eachother you’re our only family, the one we love the most. Nicole won’t be forgotten, but her role has been passed down to you. We all love you more than anyone right now. I want you to have the love we had for Nicole, passed on to you.

Xandri: (gets teary-eyed, brings Lily and Pierce and you into a hug, whispers) We’re a family now.

Pierce & Xandri: (exchange a worried glance)

Lily: (stands up slowly, walks over to you, paws closed together)

Xandri: Lily….Is that—?

Pierce: (raises eyebrows)

Lily: (doesn’t answer them, holds paws out, opens them to reveal a heart-shaped locket on a gold chain, the heart open to a picture of Pierce, Xandri, you and I together, stands on tippy-toes and fixes it around your neck)

Xandri: (stamds beside Lily, puts a paw on your shoulder) Lily…..is that really......?

Pierce: (stands on Lily’s other side, put my paw on her other shoulder) I think it is, Alex…..

Pierce: (sighs) A-alright.

Xandri:(hugs you tight)

Pierce: (hugs you too)

Lily: (sits down and turns my back to you, fiddles with something)

Xandri: Lily….

I don’t know how long I’ll be away.

I don’t know how long I’ll be in dismay.

But remember my possible last words closely,

I’m not a horrible man. Indeed this is an unselfish act for a young boy to regain his happiness. Even though I recall it as his flair for the dramatic, I’m doing this for him.

Kiberly is very right, bullying is no laughing matter. It affects us all, whether through a friend or family member. Maybe even you. The point is though is that no matter who you are no bully should be allowed to scare you from being the real you. Not the one hiding away behind a mask, trying to fit in and be like everyone else. Who wants a copy though? I know none of you may not care, you may shake your head or not even give it another look then delete it, but if you do take the time, to read this, your making a difference. By being alerted of the matter and having the knowledge to do something. You know, no matter what you choose to do with this knowledge.. it won’t matter. Your making a big difference and being alert of the matter for the greater good. If you did however choose to stop and take a second to think about this post I thank-you, your making AU a better place.

Dear All Au Animals,

I know you get A LOT of these a day but this one is important to me. Bullying is affected A LOT and most kids take their lives over people bullying them and not accepting who they are. They could be Gay,Bisexual or anything else. They are still and equal, maybe not by personality. They are MAMMALS guys! We all have feelings. I don’t like seeing one of my good friends, Vic getting hurt and him leaving Au. Guys step it up. Were not in 5th & 6th grade anymore. Everyone makes mistakes. Heck I make them every second of the day. Im not saying everyone is perfect or being wrong for who they are. I want people to be accepted and accepting. Please whatever Vic did and others forgive them. Please!
