Please keep Riley in your prayers as he goes into surgery today at 2pm Pacific Times. He is 6 years old, which is making it harder for him to keep going through anesthesia, and this will be his 3rd time under in 2 weeks.

That would be great. I try to talk to people nicely on here about it (I am not going to say any names at the moment) but they keep accusing me of being a “know it all”, but what they are doing is making me so uncomfortable. Not only that, but people will message me outside of AU saying it too. I just want AU to be a happier place, you know?

Yup, just in a different form. I go back to the hospital on Monday and have 4 more days in the hospital and 3 in the classroom before the internship is over and I start swim and semester 2.

He is finally asleep. I was shocked I even was able to fall asleep last night as the anesthesia makes him cry and restless even when he isn’t in pain. He slept a couple hours last night, which was making me able to fall asleep.

I don’t have to get a job right now as my mom needs me to be with Riley whenever I have free time since we have to separate him from the other two and he isn’t aloud to walk unless outside, and then it’s limited also. I’m hoping I can get one soon though because I honestly need to get one.

The surgery is actually going to get him out of a cast earlier. After the surgery he is in a cast for 10 days, but he will keep the plate and bolts in his leg, making him not be able to do the same thing. It’s better then him being an amputee which I was worried about when Roxy ran into him. I keep checking his paws to make sure its the same temp as the others.

I was wondering if you could say something about or monitor some of the RPs on AU? They have been getting very violent and upsetting lately with talks of rape, getting shot, hit by cars , etc. If it is a one time thing for an RP, I don’t mind it so much. Some people though do it all the time. The thing that really bothers me is that the people don’t ask before hand if this is ok. This person could be easily bothered by the thought of a 6 year old girl getting shot. I believe a lot of these people on this website are anxious to say something because they are depressed and don’t have a lot of friends in RL. Having a friend on AU is a big deal to them, and by asking them to stop could make them think they will lose a friend. People talk about being insecure and bullied in RL on this website a lot which is sad, and makes me think that they could be scared to do something.

I makes me uncomfortable too. I’ve been through some really rough times, and seeing some of these things really make uncomfortable to watch. Probably cause these are older kids and young teens. I know there is a lot of violence in the world, but it is nice to get away from it. Rarely am I never stressed but sometimes I feel serene and come on AU. I’ll read through WBs or other people’s posts and instantly get anxious. It sucks, since this is my childhood and where I met my best friends.

I may have a demon character and a little on the “darker” side, but I never describe stabbings or people cutting themselves. If something did happen, the most I will do is imply it slightly. If I really want something violent, I get off AU.

Can you please help me out? Maybe we can make a forum in Rathskeller about it to start talking about it instead of being at each other’s throats. Maybe something similar to Rex’s old “L.I.F.E”. The AU family feels so distant now and abused, suicidal character’s don’t help. Aim made a forum too about owner’s getting to know each other, but only he and I posted in it. Which is sad, because I feel we should all maybe not be the best of friends, but at least acknowledge each other.

I’ve talked to multiple people about this who I am friends with outside of AU, and they agreed trying to get to know each other and talking things out would be a good idea. An establishment of rules would be nice too (they AU rules are hard to find).

It’s been confirmed, Riley will need surgery :( he is literally only allowed to walk to go to the bathroom outside and is can’t be anywhere near the other two, Zoey and Roxy.

Frick! I want to cuss on this but I won’t. my mom and I took Riley to the vets when she got home from work this morning as I was awake all night keeping Riley calm because he was in to much pain. He is still currently at the vets, and my mom gets a call that the break moved out of place even more. The vet is trying her hardest to set it, but there is a huge chance he needs surgery. Surgery will be a crap ton of money and at the moment it can make things worse on my parents. Please please pray for Riley!!!

Ah, thank-you! I tried my best to work with the theme given to me, and it helped that purple happens to be my favorite color! Somewhere in between blue and pink, just like me. :)
