It’s a wax-resist dyeing techniquie! You see, you put the wax on the fabric in the patteren you like(with MANY different tools to get MANY different patterns! My owner used an old toothbrush!) , them dye the fabric with a water-based dye. The wax keeps the part of the fabric it’s covering the same color it was, while the surrounding fabric is dyed. Then you boil and iron the wax off, and viola`!
Maybe you could find a video on it or something? : )
