Well Saturday night, one of the student’s on here was about to commit suicide in RL. Everyone was in a panic, and trying their best to talk them out of it. Many hours later, we were luckily successful but we were almost too late in my opinion. You weren’t online and we had no real adults to help us. We couldn’t call the police like we wanted, because we had no idea where exactly she lived and if they could track AU/kik (a social messaging app we were also using).

Do you have any advice at all of what to do in a situation if that happens again? It was very scary and almost didn’t end well

I was honestly looking into any job application. Target, where my brother had worked and my mom told me for the longest time not to, is hiring for seasonal and I was going to fill out their application just to get something, but now I don’t thankfully. Hopefully I learn how to make the drinks fast (coffee, tea) as the owner made them herself. My community college actually has on campus jobs, so if worse comes to worse I could of tried there.

Yup, CC is amazing. I’m actually going to be meeting up with the recruiter from my area eventually for Grand Canyon University so he could help me plan the classes I should take to then transfer. Depends on also the funds, so we will see. My community college is literally my old high schools, college. We all nickname it Canyon 2.0 as most of the kids from my alumni head over to this CC.

That’s great! I miss my Daisy, it’s weird not seeing her laying in front of the fire place all the time and letting me curl up next to her. I don’t think that weirdness will ever go away while I live in the house I do, considering I grew up in this house.

About Geronimo’s post, I think we should also make a post in Aug Blog about the signs and how to help if it happens again. I think it would be beneficial to get more people aware to be able to help out.

Hello Augie!

My life has had some ups and downs lately, but other than that I am doing great. How about yourself? Yes, we do have some catching up to do! It’s been months since I’ve been on.

Can’t wait :D It probably will be as their owners will be able to drop in while out and about.

I had actually got accepted into the school last year, but taking general ed there it was a little too pricey, so I am going to a community college for general ed. I was told that they didn’t allow transfers into the nursing program, but one of the recruiters texted me due to me being on the list last year, and told me that they allow transfers for that program. I’m talking to her today to know what classes I need to take before transferring.

Thanks! I just started last night and I go in again tomorrow. I’m excited and nervous :)
