Yeah, I think so!

He MUST have been raised well, and around a lot of other cats, dogs, and people. He actually knows how to entertain himself pretty well.

He’ll find a sock lying around (normally one of my owner’s) and toss it up in the air, then leap onto his hind legs and attack it. He’ll repeat.

He even plays FETCH sometimes…..I thought that was Happy and I’s thing.

Right now he’s alseep on the couch in between my owner’s parents. Happy and I got kicked off.

Romeo’s my cat brother, but sometimes…..

Our veternarian might actually write us up to go to one of the top universities in the state so he could be studied.

If they can fugure it out, it could be BIG for regenerating! People with mouth cancer or something.

And, honestly, Romeo wouldn’t mind. He’s very cool at the vet. Most cats you have to drag or dump out of the carrier, but he just walks out like “Hey. What’s up?” And he’ll either just flop on the chrome counter or start rubbing up against the vet or one of the nurses.

Romeo’s a friend to everybody! If you look in my album you can see soome pics of us sleeping together. And he’s really friendly around people! I’ve NEVER, EVER seen him hiss, growl, or even raise his hackles. He’s a cool dude. :-)

Okay guys, this is the girl behind lucky43201, and SecretDoor(some might know Admin. Duke on that account).

First off, Leina, Maggie Moo, and Leo are RL pets. And Romeo is RL on SecretDoor.

Second, I have GOOD news, and BAD news about Romeo.

Some of you might know, but for those of you that don’t: Romeo is a Special Needs Kitty.

About a year and half ago, soon after we adopted him, we think he put a poisoness spider (possibly a brown aclouse) in his mouth, and it bit his tongue. The tongue actually DIED and rotted away, leaving a nub in the back of his throat.

He had surgery, and we had to feed him liquid food for months. Apparently cats have gotten their tongues into everything from blanders to siccors(DON’T ask me how!) But Romeo is the first spider-bite case. My mom contacted some of the top cat experts in the state, and they couldn’t make head or tails of it.

He is the sweetest cat ever, so we deidn’t put him down. He was young and managed to adapt, so he eventually could eat and even drink on his own. But it was nowhere near easy. We had to BATHE a CAT. In the sink, Romeo took a bath once a week. It takes both my parents to handle him. Because, well, he can’t GROOM himself anymore.

But he is the best cuddle buddy ever, and we love our expensive kitty.

Okay, to the news. We took Romeo to the vet, and good and bad news.

First off, BAD news.

Romeo has tape worm(it is given by fleas, even though we’ve put fleastuff on him…) and a bladder infection.

Alright, now the GOOD news!!

My mom has been suspecting it for MONTHS, but only NOW does the vet beleive her.

Romeo’s Tongue Is Almost Back!!

We don’t know if it’s regenerating or WHAT, but it’s THERE!! It’s. A. Tongue!!

It’s like there’s white scar tissue holding it down, when he yawns it kinda bands up. It’s no longer a nub, but a full tongue! As soon as that scar tissue heals up, we tink his tongue will be back!!
