Hi guys, owner speaking.

This weekend, lucky for me, my dad’s cousins are all coming…and 14 are all staying in our house (not counting the kids, I don’t think). There will be like 7 kids, all under age 12. So of course, that probably means I won’t be on this weekend. (Sigh) I can’t wait to have all this company for 3 whole days. Wish me luck.

Animal University or Human University?

A lot of animals have been playing as humans instead of animals. Most of the players who have been here a while (since AU started in 2009) and even some if the newer players have been very concerned about this. Some are angry about the subject, others try not to get involved.

So, are the Admins, Student-Admins, or Ambassadors, or even any of the students doing anything to stop this? We all remember back in around March when “The Revolution” was started because of animals speed-dating. Animals were sending out posts about how much all of the older players miss the old AU. I would have to say that might have changed some animals minds about dating, but not much.

I’m surprised nobody has started another revolution over human pictures. Right now the Admins and Student-Admins aren’t sure what to do. Having human pictures on our whiteboards isn’t allowed. I don’t see why people are putting them up, since many players have been told to take them off in the past. But, you can put them in your photo albums and have a link on your whiteboard profile (for those who have made one).

We haven’t been telling any animals to take them off because there are so many people doing it to where it would be too hard to go thought almost everyones whiteboard.

So, what do you think? Should playing as humans be allowed or not?

Hey animals!

It’s been about three days since I came back to AU, and I’ve been so much happier! I’d like to thank all of you for making AU such an awesome place to be! It really has made a difference in my life…times have been tough. I’m starting to ask myself why on earth I ever left!

Would I? I’d love to! So, like an article? And you’re welcome! My owner has been through some friend issues in the last two weeks(fights, she lost two best friends…they ended up being mean), so AU has patched up that hole in their life…:D

I agree with you. With so many users doing it, it’s almost impossible to keep everyone from doing it. This is an animal game, so I don’t see why people are playing as humans in the first place, but that’s just my opinion.

If we were to give players a chance to be an animal or a human, then I think about 75% of the players would choose human. But in the end, there seems to not be much we can do about it, so I guess we’ll have to brainstorm ideas to keep new players from doing this. Maybe change to Student-Admin auto greeting? I don’t know. But I’ll be thinking about this while I have the time this Summer. A part of me wants to go back to school, the other half is more like…eh…

Oh, and thanks! I love the kitten idea. I wanted to hoard all of the, for some reason…:D

And my one year anniversary is coming up in about a month…yayyy!
