I went to the doctor yesterday and I only have a cold. The nurse took by blood pressure three times. The first was high for me, so she took it again twice, thinking it was just an error. The other times she tried were just as high, so I suppose the stress of getting slightly behind in school, family problems, friendship problems and my crush all piled on top of each other most likely contributed to me becoming more ill than I was before or the high blood pressure (although it does seem to run in the family. I am not the first of my family to have issues with it).

[From Owner] So on Wednesday, I got a text from my friend/crush. He said he liked this girl who described me very well. He wanted advice, so I told him what I thought he should do. I asked him who this girl was and he called me ten minutes later telling me the girl was me. I was freaking out and told him I liked him back, but every time the moment replays in my mind, it doesn’t feel at all real. I have imagined him telling me he liked me in my mind for months now, but now that it happened, it just feels unreal. I look back at my text messages multiple times a day since it happened to make sure it wasn’t just my imagination or a dream. I knew I would be in shock, but I didn’t even think it would last this long. I was starting to catch a cold on Wednesday, but yesterday I was feeling extremely weak and fell asleep at 6:00 PM. I was dizzy and could barely think. I had to miss school today because I’m still not 100% better. I did take some medicine that seems to be working, but for some reason I start feeling a bit worse or get a headache when I think about Wednesday’s event being real or fake. Have I made myself sick over worrying so much?

I did some research and the whole “real life not being real” thought may have to deal with me being depressed. I can see how this is, because my parents have been divorced for almost two weeks now, and that didn’t at all feel real, either.

What should I do?
