Thanks :) He does. I found out through facebook since I am a member of the Anaheim Buzz and its all over. They are having fundraisers to help for any future expenses for him if he has to retire since the state has it where they will pay the K9’s while in active duty but once they retire it’s up to the handlers to pay for any other medical bills

On Thursday, March 20th, Bruno a Police K9 in Anaheim Hills was shot while trying to persuade a guy running from the cops. The reason why Bruno was chasing the guy was because the cops were checking on someone who was on parole and he was talking to two guys who then fled, leaving the suspicion that they were doing something illegal. Bruno was in front of 4 cops who were chasing the suspect when the suspect shot Bruno in the jaw, and the bullet lodged itself into his lung. The cops then shot the suspect because cop K9’s are at the same level as police officers, meaning that the cop had the right to shoot the suspect. Bruno then went over to his handler, whined once, and wanted back into the action. He was sent to the local Vet hospital and was in immediate surgery that took 4 hours. He is doing better and recovering, but he is still not out of the blue since he has a high chance of Pneumonia and infection. He lost a little bit of his lungs and has a nurse with him at all times. He is already perky even after the trauma he endured.

Hey AU!

I was wondering if everyone could pray for Bruno? He is a police K9 from my neighborhood’s police. He was shot in the jaw on Thursday and it went down into his lungs. He was in 4 hours of surgery on Thursday and is healing now but is still not out of the blue. He still has a huge chance of getting infections and Pneumonia . He saved 4 cops lives and wanted to go back into action after making his way back to his handler. He whined once through it all.
